HOA Account Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and CMCA-certified HOA Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a homeowners association. This role is responsible for ensuring effective governance, compliance, financial oversight, vendor management, and exceptional service to the community and its residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Operations
- Manage daily operations of the HOA in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws, and board policies.
- Coordinate and attend Board and committee meetings; prepare meeting agendas, packets, and minutes.
- Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries and concerns with professionalism and accuracy.
- Financial Management
- Assist in the preparation and management of the HOA’s annual budget.
- Review financial reports, monitor expenses, and work with accounting staff to ensure timely billing and collections.
- Oversee reserve studies and long-term financial planning.
- Vendor & Maintenance Oversight
- Solicit bids and manage contracts for landscaping, maintenance, security, and other community services.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure maintenance standards and covenant compliance.
- Monitor work orders and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to association governing documents, rules, and architectural guidelines.
- Process violations and enforcement actions consistently and fairly.
- Maintain all official records in compliance with local laws and association bylaws.
- Communication & Community Engagement
- Serve as the liaison between homeowners and the board.
- Facilitate newsletters, community announcements, and digital communications.
- Promote positive community relations and foster resident involvement.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Active CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) certification. Or ability to obtain within 6 Months.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HOA/community association management.
- Strong knowledge of community association governance, budgeting, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred:
- AMA or PCAM designation from CAI.
- Experience managing multiple communities or large-scale developments.
Work Environment:
- Remote-based with regular travel to community sites.
- Evening or weekend meetings may be required.
Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 / year
